The MPI Upper Integration seminar will show you ways to assess and treat the kinetic chain in a way that fuses movement assessment with dynamic palpation. A global and hands-on understanding of the kinetic chain will give the clinician a confidence to tackle the toughest of problems.

MPI has long been combining movement assessment, soft tissue treatment, functional rehabilitation with state of the art palpation and adjusting. The upper kinetic chain involves the shared efficient motion and muscular interactions of the arm, shoulder and scapular complex, along with the cervical and upper thoracic spine.

By the end of the program, the attendee will be able to:

  • understand the fundamentals of joint complex dysfunction
  • perform static and dynamic joint assessments including palpation of the surrounding soft tissues of the cervical spine, thoracic spine and upper extremity
  • understand how to perform and interpret the findings of functional movement tests of the cervical spine and upper extremity
  • understand how posture impacts joint complex dysfunction and pain syndromes
  • understand the indications and contraindications of utilizing various adjustive and rehabilitation procedures for the cervical, thoracic and upper extremity regions

Casual and comfortable.

Please bring a portable table and a speeder (toggle) board to the program (if available)

MPI will provide coffee, tea and water during the event.
