MPI Chiropractic Management Pregnant and Pediatric Patients with Erika Mennerick, DC

The purpose of this MPI lecture and hands-on workshop is to provide clinical insight into treating pregnant, postpartum, and pediatric patients as a chiropractor. It will provide attendees with a basic understanding of contraindications to care, management of common conditions, adjustive techniques, rehab exercises for pregnancy and postpartum, and nutritional recommendations for these special populations.

MPI Seminars in 2022

MPI Clinical Management of the Shoulder with Mark King, DC, Jason Placeway, DC, Bryan Hosler, DC, Brian Grawe, MD

The purpose of this 6-hour program is to prepare chiropractors to utilize evidence informed methods to assess and treat the cervicothoracic area and shoulder complex joints and surrounding soft tissues. Motion palpation, posture evaluation, x-ray, MRI and functional testing will be taught as part of a thorough examination. Emphasis will be placed on the interpretation of the assessment findings and how to correlate this information with other historical and examination data. Treatment options in the form of diversified adjustive procedures, rehabilitation methods and surgical options of the cervicothoracic area and shoulder complex will be discussed and demonstrated.

MPI Integration: Upper with Corey Campbell, DC

The MPI Upper Integration seminar will show you ways to assess and treat the kinetic chain in a way that fuses movement assessment with dynamic palpation. A global and hands-on understanding of the kinetic chain will give the clinician a confidence to tackle the toughest of problems.

MPI has long been combining movement assessment, soft tissue treatment, functional rehabilitation with state of the art palpation and adjusting. The upper kinetic chain involves the shared efficient motion and muscular interactions of the arm, shoulder and scapular complex, along with the cervical and upper thoracic spine.

MPI Masters Series:
Sports Summit
Lumbar Spine with Mark King, DC, Corey Campbell DC, Jason Hulme, DC, David Seaman, DC, Richard Ulm, DC and Brett Winchester, DC

The purpose of this seminar is to discuss joint assessment, manipulation, treatment, soft tissue treatment and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization approaches utilized for the lumbar spine and pelvis. There are four practical, hands-on sessions that include discussion, assessment and demonstration of the applicable techniques. There is also a 2 hour lecture on how diet, stress, and lack of sleep can promote chronic inflammation and pain, which can negatively impact treatment of lumbar spine conditions and sports injuries.

The purpose of this program is to prepare chiropractors (and those in training) to perform posture and gait evaluations as part of a thorough examination. Emphasis will be placed on the interpretation of the evaluation findings and how to correlate this information with functional movement testing and joint assessments. Treatment options will be demonstrated. Fundamentals of the different types of footwear and the proper use of foot orthotics will be discussed.
