The purpose of this MPI lecture and hands-on workshop is to provide clinical insight into treating pregnant, postpartum, and pediatric patients as a chiropractor. It will provide attendees with a basic understanding of contraindications to care, management of common conditions, adjustive techniques, rehab exercises for pregnancy and postpartum, and nutritional recommendations for these special populations.

It is recommended that participants have prior introduction to Motion Palpation (MPI) technique for palpation of the pelvis, lumbar, and thoracic spine as well as MPI sideline kick-pull and sideline drop adjustments. This course will focus on the application and modification of Motion Palpation techniques to the pregnant and pediatric populations. Examples of previous experience include having previously attended an MPI seminar, consistent attendance at Motion Palpation club for at least 1 semester/trimester, or having been taught Motion Palpation techniques through institutional study (i.e. NUHS). Cancellation Fee - Cancellation fee is $35.00 with written notification to MPI required.

We will only notify advanced registrants of any cancellation or program change(s). MPI is not responsible for any expense incurred by registrants due to adjustments or cancellations (we recommend that you do not purchase non-refundable airline tickets, hotel rooms and/or rental cars associated with MPI programs). A $35 processing fee will be charged per program for any tuition refund request when the registrant provides written notice of cancellation to [email protected] at least one (1) day prior to the program start date.
